David Allan Dellinger, age 61, of Peoria, passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2014 at OSF Richard L. Owens in Peoria.
David was born on August 18, 1952 in Peoria to Gene A. and Patricia L. (Shields) Dellinger. He married Denise L. Wake on May 25, 1990 in Peoria.
David is survived by his wife, Denise; his son, Joab (Ashley) Dellinger of Huntington, WV; one grandson, Max Dellinger and one grandchild on the way; his parents; his brother, Stephen (Debra) Dellinger of West Peoria, IL and his sister, Victoria Griffin of East Peoria, IL. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
David worked for almost 41 years as a Production Painter for Caterpillar and was a member of the UAW.
Cremation rites will accorded and a Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2014 at 3pm at Davison-Fulton Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home in Peoria. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
