Connie J. Walker

She was born Oct. 27, 1947 in Quincy, IL to Richard and Margaret (Bastert) Linthicum. She married Robert Walker on Nov. 25, 1972 in Canton. He survives along with one daughter: Jen Walker of Dunlap; two sons: Trevor (Gayla) Walker of Peoria, Scott (Kerry) Walker of Land O’ Lakes, FL; four grandchildren: Edward, Kyle (Melody), Brandon, Siera; two great-grandchildren: Brody, Amelia; two brothers: Rick, Tony, and one sister, Patti; and longtime friend of 50 years, Cyndee Marks of Tampa, FL.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Connie was a seamstress, crafter, and wedding planner. She was very talented in everything she did, made everyone around her happy, and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Davison-Fulton Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home in Peoria is in charge of arrangements. A celebration of Connie’s life will be Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2018 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Holiday Inn and Suites at Grand Prairie, 7601 N Orange Prairie Rd. Peoria IL. 61615.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Illinois Cancer Center on Rt. 91.
