Clara L Rowland

Clara was born Oct. 14, 1926 in Metamora to Edward and Louise (Speck) Bumeter. She moved to Peoria after WWII when she married Jewel Rowland. They later moved to Washington to raise a family before retiring in Mountain Home, Ark. She later lived in Morton and Eureka before moving to Naperville. She died at Meadowbrook Manor in Naperville of heart failure.

She was preceded in death by her husband, one daughter, Bonnie, two brothers, and one sister.

She is survived by three daughters, Connie (Dave) van Dyck of Naperville, Donna Roehnelt of Punta Gorda, FL, Marilyn (Charlie) Burdette of Hopedale and an adopted grandson, John Rowland of Mountain Home, one brother, Clayton Osler of Peoria, one sister, Elma Barth of Washington, nine grandchildren, and numerous great and great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Friday Dec. 5, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services.

Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery in Peoria.
