Cheryl Yvonne Davidson

Cheryl Yvonne Davidson, 77, of Peoria, passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She was born on April 23, 1947 in Peoria, a daughter of William H. Jefford and Mary E. (Fletcher) Jefford. Cheryl married Kenneth J. Davidson on June 4, 1999 in Peoria. He survives.

Cheryl is also survived by her two children, Gina (John) Knowles of Norman, Oklahoma and Todd (Kimberly) Lancaster of East Peoria; one brother, James (Robin) Jefford of Dixon; one sister, Robyn Clark of Peoria; seven grandchildren, Joe, Jamie, Kayla (Brandon), Cole, Kamryn (Zach), Elizabeth, Megan (Tanner); and two great-grandchildren, Brooklyn and Axel.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother-in-law, Donnie Clark.

Cheryl was a graduate of Stephen Decatur High School.

Cheryl enjoyed various careers throughout her life such as a sales manager for Olan Mills Photography and as a sales associate for Marshalls in Peoria.

She loved golfing, softball, fishing, yard sales, and especially spending time with her kids and grandkids.

Cremation has been entrusted to the Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel. A memorial service will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Susan G Komen for breast cancer prevention and awareness, as Cheryl was a multiple time breast cancer survivor.
