Bryce H. Rehn

He was born Nov. 13, 1954 in Galesburg to Herman and Dolores (Howell) Rehn. He married Nancy White Dec. 28, 1973 in Galesburg. She survives along with two sons: Andy (April) Rehn of Bartonville, Daniel Rehn of San Francisco, CA, two grandchildren: Austin and AdaiLynn Rehn of Bartonville, two sisters: Clarese (Steve) Ornstein of Crystal Lake, IL, Amy Longshore of New London WI, and several nieces and nephews.

Bryce was an engineer/trainer with Caterpillar, Inc. for the last 38 years.

He received both his under-graduate and masters degrees through Bradley University, and was a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers. Bryce loved spending time with his family, was an avid bowler and enjoyed being outdoors gardening and fishing.

He was a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Peoria.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will be Wednesday Nov. 10, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home in Peoria. A memorial visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Walter Payton Liver Center at the University of Illinois Medical Center in Chicago.
