Born June 10, 1931 in Sparks Hill, Illinois to Ora and Nettie Rogers. Married to John V. Masterson in 1950, widowed in 1981. Preceded in death by her husband, John, daughter, Pamela A. Hipple (Masterson), and sister, Mary (Lorene) French.
Survived by her children Deborah S. Feltenstein(Masterson) of Dunlap, Illinois, and David W. Masterson of Springtown, Texas, and her grandchildren, Betsy Hipple of Bartonville, Matthew Hipple of Bartonville, Jeff Feltenstein (Kija Larson) of Denver, Colorado, Doug Feltenstein of Denver, Colorado, Daniel Masterson (Ann) of Fort Worth, Texas, John Masterson (Sarah) of Springtown, Texas, and great grandchildren, Terilyn Masterson and Taylor Masterson of Fort Worth, Texas, Sydney Masterson of Springtown, Texas, Arianna Davis of Memphis, Tennessee, Harris Feltenstein and Willa Feltenstein of Denver, Colorado.
She spent her early years as stay at home mom, volunteering for Parents Club, Girl Scouts, and Bradley Student Wives Club, and then became a working mom, employed by Sears Roebuck and Co. for many years. In later years she was involved on Peoria Emblem Club 121, serving as President. In retirement she enjoyed golfing in Peoria Ladies 9 Hole League, winning many trophies. She loved to travel, taking many trips with Peoria Park District, cruising the Caribbean and Hawaii and Alaska with friends, and spending winter months in Florida. She enjoyed many activities at Buehler Home throughout the years, especially playing cards. Throughout her life she was always on the go and ready for a good time.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2023 from 10:00 to 12:00 p.m. at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel, Peoria.
