Billy D. Jackson

He was born June 22, 1959 in Chicago to Marilyn Johnson.

Survivors include his mother, Marilyn Jones of Dublin, OH, five children: Raven Jackson of Peoria, Lashana Jackson of Peoria, Shane Jackson of Washington, IL, Ashley Jackson of Bloomington, IL, Frederick Johnson-Jackson of Seattle, WA, ten grandchildren, two sisters: Sharon Thomas of Gadsden, AL, Angel (Shane) Abernathy of Dublin, OH, and two brothers: Jerome Jackson, Jr, Lavon Jackson both of Chicago and his companion, Carrie Fulce of Peoria. He is also survived by a special friend, Alice Jackson.

He was preceded in death by one grandson, La’Shaun Jackson and one brother, Vernard Jackson.

Billy worked for 17 years at Peoria area Kroger Grocery Stores as a Department Head.

He was a loving father and grandfather and enjoyed cooking and spending time with family and friends. He was an avid Chicago Bears fan and was known as the family “handy man”.

Funeral services will be Saturday, July 16, 2022 at 11 a.m. at the Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services.

Cremation rites will be accorded following the services.
