She was born on October 23, 1929 in Peoria to Leo and Louise (Dismang) Wead, and married Robert D. Kelly on October 24, 1949 in Peoria. He preceded her in death on July 1, 2007 in Peoria.
She is survived by her daughters, Kathy (Larry) Herron, and Deborah (Edward) Lindsay; grandchildren, Heather Lindsay, Jennifer Lindsay, Charlie Herron, and Andy Herron; great-granddaughter, Kaylyn Lindsay, and great-great-grandson, Jae Lee.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two sisters.
Betty was a dedicated member of Holy Family Catholic Church where she was a part of the Mary Martha Society. She enjoyed music, gardening, and was an avid fisher. For many years she was a part of a Pinochle club.
Funeral mass will be held at 2PM on Friday, July 22, 2022 at Holy Family Catholic Church. Visitation will be held an hour prior to the services. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church. Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
