Barbara Jean Morris

Barbara was born on December 6, 1929 in Peoria to Christian and Florence (Burns) Fueger.

Surviving are her daughter, Linda (Marvin) Barnes of Washington, IL; her grandchildren, Jeff (Cori) Rivas of Morton, IL, Stacey (Sean) Kenost of Huntley, IL, Tana (Nick) Bamber of Chesterton, IN, Tricia (Jason) Yordy of Morton, IL and Ty (Christy) Barnes of Glendale, WI; her great-grandchildren, Kyi , Kinley and Lexi Rivas, Emma and Sammy Kenost, Grace and Aubrey Bamber, Ella Grayson, Emily and MacKenzie Barnes; and three nephews, Steve, Patrick and Scott Lang, all of Peoria. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Peggy Tomblin; her twin sister, Betty Lang; and one nephew, Jerry Lang.

Barbara worked for Hiram-Walker Distillery in Peoria for over 30 years. She was a very happy person. She loved her family and they meant the world to her. She enjoyed watching old westerns, baking and going out to lunch. She was a Chicago Bears and Cubs and Illini fan. Barbara absolutely loved playing cards and winning quarters from family members.

Cremation rites will be accorded and a memorial service will be held on Friday, March 13, 2015 at 6pm at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria with visitation beginning at 4pm. Her grandson-in-law, Jason Yordy will be officiating. Memorials may be made to the ICU Cardiac Unit at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
