He was born on December 1, 1987 in Peoria, IL to Michael and Laurie (Crittenden) Malone. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Janet Malone, Grandfather, Russell Seidel and one aunt, Michelle Kallister.
Surviving is his mother, Laurie (John) Seidel of Peoria, his father, Michael Malone of Peoria, two sisters, Cassie and Rachel Malone of Peoria, two step brothers, John (Tricia) Seidel Jr. of Peoria and Jeremie (Michelle) Seidel of Bartonville. Also surviving is his grandparents, Patrick Malone of Peoria, Steve (Pat) Crittenden of Dunlap and Betty Seidel of Peoria, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephew, cousins and the Bastian Family whom he considered to be his second family.
He was a graduate of Woodruff High School where he was a member of the Baseball and golf teams. He joined the U.S. Navy on July 18, 2006 and participated in Operation Iraqi Freedom and received several commendations before being honorably discharged on February 19, 2009. Upon returning to the area Tony worked at Menards, as a Life Guard at the River Plex and last in Quality Control for Department GP12 at Morton Manufacturing.
Tony loved the outdoors, mudding in his truck and was an avid Paintballer and Video Game enthusiast. He was a people person and with his infectious smile and laugh was able to make friends where ever he went.
A visitation will be on Thursday, November 11, 2010 from 4 to 7 pm at Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home in Peoria. A funeral will be on Friday, November 12, 2010 at 11:00 am, with visitation one hour prior to the service at Salem Lutheran Church in Peoria. Pastor Stephen Barnes will officiate. Burial will follow the service at Springdale Cemetery in Peoria.
