He worked as a technician for Northwest Florida Heating and Air. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, skateboarding, and spending time with family and friends.
He had a deep love for music and found joy in singing. Zack was known for his comical nature, quick wit, and his ability to make everyone around him smile and laugh.
He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph Niell Sims; brother, Jansen Brice Smith; grandparents, Pat and Maxine Gillenwater; grandparents, Joe Sims and Lynn Futch; and great-uncle, Gary Gillenwater.
Zack is survived by his mother, Monica S. Sims; his sons, Carter Sims and Zackary N. Sims Jr.; his brother, Braden T. Sims; grandparents, Helen and Pat Gleason; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Gathering for Zack will be held Wednesday, December 11, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home, 1985 W.Nine Mile Road, FL 32534, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM.
