William F. “Bill” Weber, 91, of Gulf Breeze, Florida died, Monday, October 08, 2012.
Mr. Weber was born March 07, 1921 in Martinsburg, Pennsylvania to William O. Weber and Prudence Haffly Weber. He served in the U. S. Army, 95th Infantry Division during World War II. Mr. Weber retired from Westinghouse in 1982 after forty four years of service.
All those that knew Bill, knew him to be a loving compassionate man devoted to his family. He was a talented craftsman, and never met a broken project he couldn’t fix. He was blessed with a sharp mind and a perfect memory up until the day he died.
Mr. Weber was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy Bowsman Weber; his second wife, Jane Trippe Weber and his brother, Ralph Weber.
Survivors include his daughters, Deborah Weber Mallett of Gulf Breeze, Terri Weber Strickland of Minneapolis, MN, Dorothy Trippe Estrup of Pensacola and Kathryn Wright Broadus of Pensacola; sister, Gladys Snyder of Philadelphia, PA; grandchildren, Seth, Mary and Grace Mallett; Kristin Strickland Bakke, Kim Strickland Archambault, Johnathon Strickland, Laura Humphreys Welch, Austin Trippe; Mary Jane and Eva Estrup; and 18 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 11, 2012 at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel with Dr. Lester Stanley officiating.
Interment will follow at Bayview Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Habitat for Humanity, 300 West Leonard Street, Pensacola, FL 32501.
