William "Bill" L. Langston

1935 – 2013

William (Bill) Lynn Langston, 78, of Milton Florida passed away September 20, 2013, after a lengthy illness, surrounded by loved ones.

He was born in Tupelo Mississippi. He served in the United States Navy until he retired in 1975.

William was very active in church until he became ill. He enjoyed playing golf, spending time with the family, cooking, traveling, and playing jokes on people. He was very outgoing and never met a stranger until he got ill.

William was predeceased by his parents John Merle and Mildred Estelle Langston. His wife Jewell Isabelle Langston and son William "Bill" Bigby.

Mr. Langston is survived by his son Michael Bigby (Laura), a daughter in law Bonnie Bigby and daughters Teresa Fry, Lisa Bunker (Richard), Patricia Hughes (Eddie), and Dawn Harrigill (Paul). He is also survived by 18 very special grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Doug Dickey Jr., Paul Harrigill, Eddie Hughes, Richard Bunker, and Joseph Billen, Erica Hightower and Honorary Pallbearer, Delano Dodson.

The family will receive friends Monday, September 23, 2013 from 6pm to 8pm at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at 12pm noon at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel 3351 Scenic Hwy, Pensacola, Florida. Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
