William Ronald Johnson, age 81, passed away Tuesday, August 20th 2019 in Lineville, AL. William was born March 18, 1938 in Lakewood, FL to Ola Mae and William Agustus McGowin. In 1999 he moved to the Pensacola, FL area and was an operator for Armstrong World Industry. He was a member of Lineville Baptist Church in Lineville, AL. He was also a veteran of the Army National Guard, the Masons, and his favorite activities included hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife; Opal Mae Pitts Johnson, son; Christopher Ronald Johnson, daughters; Kimberly Dianne Johnson-Brown, Amanda Rhea Johnson, Linda Kaye Reynolds, Brenda Faye Revill, and Rebecca Sue Cardona, as well as 12 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
A visitation will be Saturday, August 24, 2019 from 1-2 pm with a funeral service to follow at 2 pm located at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home. An interment will immediately follow the service located at Eastern Gate Memorial Gardens, 1985 West Nine Mile Road, Pensacola, FL 32534.
