William David Clifford Sr.

William David Clifford, Sr, age 92 of Pensacola, passed away on Dec. 21, 2011. Known to most of his friends by David he was a US Army World War II veteran and retired from NAS Public Works after 30 years. He was preceded in death by his wife Norma Evelyn Clifford; son, Robert Allen Clifford; parents, William Whiting and Susan Drucilla Clifford; step mother, Allie Clifford; two sisters, Florence Smith and Esther Dugan; brother, Clarence Clifford. David is survived by two daughters, Judy (Dave) McCormick and Linda Clifford; son, William David (Hollice) Clifford, Jr.; two sisters, Fatima (Buddy) Middlebrook, Bessie Ola Boaze; three grandchildren, David McCormick, Tammy Feldt, Cathy Shuttleworth; twelve great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Tues., Dec 27, 2011 from 5:00 pm till 7:00pm at Oaklawn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Wed., Dec 28, 2011 at 11:00 am at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with burial at the cemetery at the church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
