Walter Burham Fink

Born in Paterson, NJ on August 10, 1937 he was the son of the late Harvey and Margaret Fink. He was a member of the US Navy as an Operational Flight/Weapons System Trainer and was honorably discharged in 1980.

His hobbies included woodworking and making things grow. As a member of the Pensacola Speckled Trout Club he spent many hours enjoying the local waterways and fishing with his friends.

He is survived by his daughter Christine Ammons, son-in-law Craig Ammons, granddaughter Aleisha Burridge and grandson Christopher Ammons, granddaughter Miranda Clemons, her husband David Clemons, and two greatgrandchildren. He is predeceased by his wife, Mary Jane Fink and son Walter Larry Fink.

The funeral service will be held on July 19, 2023 at 10 am at Oaklawn Funeral Home. The viewing will be held immediately preceding the funeral. No precession will follow the funeral but a graveside service will be held at the Miller’s Cemetery in Gulf Shores, Al at 2 p.m.
