Born in Pennsylvania, Tom served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He settled in Pensacola and began his career as an electrical engineer at the Naval Air Rework Facility.
Tom was an avid golfer and a highly accomplished home builder, wood craftsman and expert electrician.
Tom was preceded in death by his first wife Kathrine Myers and brothers Jim, Bill, and Sam. He is survived by his wife Anita Brown Myers, son David, daughter Jo Lynn, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Services were held at the Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel on July 6, 2015. Interment was in Bayview Memorial Park. In Tom’s honor, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
