Tom Doherty left this life at 7pm on October 9th, surrounded by his family. The oldest of 8 children, married for nearly 47 years, father to 4 and grandfather to 6, he was understandably exhausted. He was a graduate of St. Anselm's College in New Hampshire and a retired Lt. Colonel in the U.S. Army, Tom is survived by his wife of nearly 47 years, Glenda, his children Mary, Meg, Tom and Bridget, grandchildren Jack, Kellan, Rian, Juliet, Marielle and Pete, and 5 brothers and one very patient sister. He will be remembered for his belief in God and in the pun as the highest form of humor, and his penchant for ordering Eggs Benedict on a 16" hubcap, because "there's no plate like chrome for the hollandaise."
