She was an active member of Olive Baptist Church and the JOY Sunday School class.
She received her bachelor degree in Elementary Education from Troy State University and taught for 30+ years in the Escambia County school system. She also enjoyed being a member of the Red Hats Society.
Sue was full of life, and her love for the Lord was evident in all she did. She will always be remembered as a lady with a servant’s heart who loved God and others.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Melvin Crowter, her two daughters, Melissa Crowter Higgins (Ed) and Michele Crowter Grissett (Ford), a brother, Frank Brown (JoAnn), and 4 grandchildren.
Visitation and service will be held on Monday, October 9, 2017 at Olive Baptist Church in Pensacola, Florida. Family visitation is at 9:00 am, friends at 10:00 am, with the service following at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association in her memory.
