Sarah was born in Pensacola, Florida to Ira. R. Capers, and Bertie M. Capers on April 12, 1946. She was first and foremost a loving mother. grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.
She taught us all the importance of having love and happiness in life. She showed us how to achieve love and happiness by always having a smile on her face no matter what life threw at her.
She was a proud owner of the Happiest Dogs in Town. She had a special love for all animals especially dogs, cats, and birds. Sarah cherished all of her fur babies that came into her life, but it was her poodle, FeFe and fish, Big Boy and Bubba held a special place in her heart.
She was always looking for the next adventure in life. Sarah enjoyed gardening, doing crafts, sewing, crocheting, thrift shopping and rock collecting.
Sarah will always be remembered and missed by her family, friends, and fur babies.
Sarah was preceded in death by her father Ira R. Capers (03/24/1976), mother Bertie M Capers (06/26/2016), and her sisters Divivian A. Capers (06/09/1956) and Veronica L. Simms (07/15/2020).
She is survived by her sons Stephen Lynn McDaniel (Debra Marie McDaniel) and Anthony "Tony" Lynn McDaniel (Lisa Michelle McDaniel), her grandchildren Stephen Christopher McDaniel, John Wesley Lynn McDaniel, Aaron Glen McDaniel, Ashley Marie McDaniel, Michael James Hughes, Larry E. Hughes, and Kimberly Hughes Marshall, her six great grandchildren, her siblings, Chester Capers, Clara Macks, Edna Walters, Donald Capers, Patricia Moreno, Leaster Brown, O'Debra Madden, Tommie Capers, Roderica Cordle, Rolanda Capers. Ira Capers and Terry Capers, and many, many more extended family and loved ones.
Come and join us in celebrating Sarah’s life on Tuesday, December 22, 2020. A visitation will be held at 11:00am with a service at 12:00pm located at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home in Pensacola, FL. Immediately following, family and friends are invited to an interment service, for Sarah, at Elizabeth Chapel Cemetery in Chumuckla, FL. Donations are welcomed, as well as flowers to be planted around her house in her memory. Pall Bearers will include Johnathan, Bill, Rex, Ira, Willy and Terry.
