Rubye Grace Hope Llewellyn, 85, of Myrtle Grove, FL, died Sunday, May 13, 2012 after a courageous battle with breast cancer. She was the exemplary southern lady; lovely, blessed with humor, love, kindness, elegance, and humility.
Whether cleaning house or cleaning fish, she was always happy and able to find a silver lining in every cloud that came her way. She focused on the simple pleasures of daily life, a warm summer evening outside, a game of Chinese checkers or dominoes, homemade ice cream, an uncontrollable giggle with her son and daughter.
She will be deeply missed by friends and family.

She married Frank Llewellyn, Jr. of Knoxville, TN in 1953. They enjoyed their life together in Knoxville where they operated the Llewellyn Turkey Farm. The family moved to Pensacola in 1964 when Frank rejoined the US Navy aboard the USS Lexington. While in Pensacola, she started a career with the Navy Exchange in 1966 that ended with her retirement in 1985. Her loving husband Frank Llewellyn, Jr. died April 1991.
