Robert Falzone passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2014, at:38 PM after a long illness of natural causes. He was born on August 10, 1943 in Pensacola, FL to Inez and Jerome Falzone.
He was married to Evangeline (Ginger) Coury on April 13, 1996. He attended and graduated from Woodham High School in June 1961. He went into the Marine Corps right after graduation for 4 ½ years.
Bob was a truck driver for a piping and fitting company, he delivered for Livendco and worked in a chemical plant in Texas. His last job was at Sacred Heart Hospital as a nurse tech where he had worked on the surgical floor and the neonatal nursery with premature babies. After he suffered a massive heart attack during Hurricane Ivan in 2004 he retired for medical reasons.
Bob was a Baptist and had attended West Pensacola Baptist Church, Calvary Chapel Pensacola, FL and Coastline Calvary Chapel of Gulf Breeze, FL. Bob could talk to anybody. He would go to the mall or Wal Mart and carry on detailed conversations with anybody he came across.
Bob loved fly fishing and even made his own fly ties.
Family: He was survived by his wife Evangeline Coury Falzone, Brian Howard of Alaska, Troy Howard of Milton FL, 10 grandchildren, 2 nephews, 2 great-nieces, 6 great-great nieces and nephews, many friends and his beloved Tango Peaches, Bubba, Snowball, and Cissy.
His parents and one sister Mary (Falzone) Holland precede him in death.
Services will be held from 4-6 PM Friday February 21, 2014 with service and visitation and reception to follow.
