Richard Anthony Patterson

He was born on September 21, 1967, in Pensacola, Florida to his biological father, Robert Lambrecht and his living mother, Rebecca Kay Jones. He was later adopted by John Patterson when he and his mother were married. Richard was married to Kathy Patterson (Myers) on August 27, 2010.

Richard was a dedicated employee with HCA Florida West Hospital for 14 years demonstrating pride in his work, exceptional work ethic and a personal touch in his relationships with coworkers. He was always ready to help anyone and was known for always having a smile on his face.

A true family man, Richard cherished spending time with his wife and children above all else. He had a passion for the outdoors, particularly hunting and making memories with his family. Watching his children grow up brought him immense joy. There is nothing more in life he was prouder of than his children.

Richard’s warm personality, concern for others, and mischievous grin touched the lives of all who knew him. He had the ability to lighten the mood in any circumstance. His loyalty to family and friends was unwavering.

Richard is preceded in death by his biological father, Robert Lambrecht and his oldest son, Michael Patterson. He is survived by his loving wife of 14 years, Kathy; his twin son and daughter, Bryce (Jordan) Patterson and Lindsay Patterson; his stepson, Jace Smith; his grandson, Michael Patterson; his mother Rebecca Patterson; brother Robert Patterson; sister Miranda (Chris) Staples as well as numerous close family members and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 18th at Bayview Fisher Pou with visitation on Monday June 17th from 5-7 pm & service Tuesday at 11 am.

The pallbearers are Robert Patterson, Michael Vitito, Matt Mauldwin, Allen Johnson, Gregory Smith and Richard Eenigenberg.

A visitation for Richard will be held Monday, June 17, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel, 3351 Scenic Highway 90e, Pensacola, FL 32503. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, June 18, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 3351 Scenic Highway 90e, Pensacola, FL 32503. A committal service will occur Tuesday, June 18, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM, 3351 Scenic Highway 90e, Pensacola, FL 32503.
