Richard “Ricky” William Parker, age 67, passed away on July 31, 2022 at his home in Foley, Alabama. He was born on May 7, 1955 in Pensacola, Fl. to William D. Parker, Sr. and Mary Ann Edison Parker. He was retired but enjoyed a long career in construction, office machine repair and AC repair.
Ricky had a good heart and was a beloved father. He was always willing to help anyone and was known for making people laugh. His hobbies were baseball, softball, fishing, NASCAR racing and most of all Alabama football.
He is survived by his son, Eric (Amber) Parker of Cantonment, Fl.; two grandchildren, Tobin and Ivy Parker; two brothers, William D. (Emily) Parker, Jr. of Foley, Al. and Terry E. Parker of Pensacola, Fl.; two nephews, Chris Parker of Pensacola, Fl. and Michael Hardy of Pace, Fl.; two nieces, Lacey Parker and Mary Parker White both of Pensacola, Fl. and his dog Lucky who was his best friend and companion for many years.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, August 15, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home, 1985 West Mile Rd. Pensacola, Fl. 32534. Interment will follow at Eastern Gate Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 15, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. until the 1:00 p.m. service at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home.
