Richard J. Crispin, age 90, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, October 15, 2019. Richard was born in Topeka, Kansas on July 7, 1929 to Haskell and Myrtle Crispin.
He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife; Mildred M. Crispin, his daughter; Patricia Garcia, his son-in-law; John Garcia, Jr., his son; Thomas Alan Crispin, and grandchildren; Rachel Marceau and Alexander Garcia.
Richard was a US Navy Veteran of the Korean War and served aboard the USS Randolph. He loved building and flying RC Airplanes. His love of planes stemmed from his days in the Navy as an airplane mechanic. The biggest plane model he built was a P-51 Mustang. He was very precise in his model making and loved to talk about airplanes to anyone who would listen.
A visitation will be held at 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 20, 2019. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with interment to follow.
