Age 88 of Pensacola, passed away on Dec. 7, 2011. Raymond retired from the US Postal Service where he was supervisor of the Motor Vehicle Garage. He served in the US Army during World War II. Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by his parents, George and Belle Taylor; brothers, Selman Taylor Lewis Taylor, Wynfred Taylor and grandson Jaison McArthur. He is survived by his wife of 68 years Margaret C. Taylor and only child Sandra T. Waldron; grandchildren, Jennifer K. Cook of Athens, AL, George (Amy) Waldron of Bowling Green, KY; eight great-grandchildren and one great grandson; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm till 2:00 pm on Monday, Dec. 12, 2011 at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home with the funeral at 2:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be later at Barrancas National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Emerald Coast Hospice at 1555 N. Palafox, Pensacola, FL 32501.
