Affectionately known as Tony by his family, Paul was born on March 1, 1960, at Pensacola Naval Hospital. He graduated from Pensacola Catholic High School in 1978. He attended Loyola University New Orleans and Pensacola Junior College, where he earned his Associates Degree. He also completed the Avionics Systems Program at Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology in Tulsa, OK. He worked many years for BF Goodrich Aerospace Avionics Division in Miami, FL and Round Rock, TX, Tony changed career paths and returned to PJC to earn a degree and certification in Medical Radiography. Throughout his life, Tony was known for his eclectic knowledge, unique sense of humor, and an insatiable love of music, books, and all things collectable. Above all, Paul was a beloved brother, uncle, and cousin.
Professionally, Paul was a highly respected medical radiographer for the past 19 years. He approached his work with dedication and a strong work ethic, earning the respect of his colleagues at Sacred Heart Hospital. Paul is preceded in death by his parents, Charles F. Brice & Mary Lou Poole Brice, his brothers Patrick and Stephen Brice, and nephew-in-law Ronald Turiello.
Paul is survived by his siblings: Helen Brice Caruso (Ron), Michael F. Brice; and Kathryn E. Kuklish (Tom) ; his nieces and nephews: Margret M. Caruso, Elizabeth C. Clark (Mark), Daniel J. Caruso (Erin Devoy), Mary Louise Kuklish, Thomas Patrick Kuklish, Kathleen Kuklish (Eric Stadtmueller), and Michael Paul Kuklish; Great-niece Grace Caruso-Turiello and Great-nephew Marcello Caruso-Turiello; and many cousins especially Kathy Sladick Taromina (Tim). He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Paul’s family thanks the doctors, nurses, and staff, especially his supervisor and colleagues in the Radiology Department at Sacred Heart Hospital for their support in caring for him.
Services will be Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church 303 S Navy Blvd, Pensacola, FL 32507, Visitation will begin at 10 AM, the Rosary will be prayed at 10:30 AM, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made Paul’s memory can be made to Ascension Sacred Heart Foundation, Covenant Care Hospice Center, and St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church (all in Pensacola).
