Patricia Ann Presley, age 64 of Samson, AL passed away on Dec. 20, 2013. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Hilbert and Elizabeth Hurd; brother, Ronald Hurd. She was a member of Samson Church of Christ. Mrs. Presley is survived by her husband, Maxie Presley; daughter, Vanessa Maria Born Sexton; sons, Kevin Born, Karl (Bren) Born; three grandchildren, William Sexton, Michael Born, Rachael Coleman; great grandchild, Faith Coleman; brother, H.C. "Buster" (Sharon) Hurd Jr. Visitation will be on Thursday, Dec. 26, 2013 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home. The funeral will be on Friday, Dec. 27, 2013 at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with the burial to follow at Eastern Gate Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Humane Society.
