Norman C. Booth, 95 of Pensacola, Fl passed away February 13. He leaves a loving and caring spouse of 70 years, Regina M. Booth. He was born May 6, 1920 in Mayport, FL to the late William E. Booth and the late Agnes Inez Booth Murdock. He was also preceded in death by his brother William C. Booth, his sister Wilma Booth Tindell, his step father William C. Murdock, two sons-in-law, William (Bill) Thompson and Roy Flores. Norman was a veteran of WWII serving in the US Army. He worked in the auto parts industry, eventually realizing his dream of owning his own business, Booth's Auto Parts. He was a founding member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church. Norman and Regina square danced with the Swingin Saints, were members of the Golden Agers and Young at Heart. His hobbies included hunting, fishing and playing Canasta with his family. He had a great sense of humor and a contagious smile. He was always ready and willing to help someone in need. Above all, he was a family man. He will be truly missed and his memory will be cherished by many. Surviving him in addition to his wife, are their children, Rev. Norman 'Ed' Booth of Jacksonville, FL, Beth Thompson of Sykesville, MD, Catherine (Gil) Chalker of Montgomery, AL, Mary (Dave) Just of Weeki Wachee, FL, Barbara (Richard) Harris of Molino, FL, Margaret (Gary) Frazier of Pensacola, FL and Frances Flores of San Antonio, TX, nephews, Wayne (Joy) Tindell of Lake City, FL and Benjamin Booth, 12 grand children and 19 great grand children. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 16th from 6 to 8 PM at Oak Lawn Funeral Home, 619 New Warrington Rd., Pensacola, FL 32507.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, February 17th at 10:00 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 3295 Barrancas Ave., Pensacola, FL 32507. Reception in Parish Hall following Mass. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 510 Bayshore Drive, Pensacola, FL 32507.
