Mona L. White

Mona Leslie White, of Pensacola, Florida passed away on November 20, 2011 at the age of 80. Born in Los Angeles, California, Mona grew up within a large extended family and graduated from Beverly Hills High School in 1950. She studied piano and oil painting from an early age, was certified as a private pilot while in high school, and met her husband in the Civil Air Patrol. Mona raised three children in Los Angeles, and enjoyed camping and fly-fishing. Mona moved to Pensacola in 1981.

Mona is survived by her daughter Laura J. White of Pensacola; son Christopher A. White of Las Vegas, NV; grandchildren Aaron White and Jenny White; and remembered by in-laws, nieces, and nephews. Mona was preceded in death by her husband Robert K. White, and daughter Leslie A. White.

A celebration of Mona's life will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 26, 2011 at Oak Lawn Funeral Home, 619 New Warrington Road Pensacola, FL 32506, immediately followed by a reception at Laura's home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Covenant Hospice.
