Our angel, Michelle Brooks, has departed this earth to rest peacefully with the Lord. She passed on June 17, 2016 in Pensacola, Florida and is survived by her loving husband of 23 blissful years, Tom Brooks. Michelle leaves two sisters, two brothers, several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, many friends and family members. Michelle was preceded in death by her grandmother, Dorothy Colbert, and her parents, Margie Colbert and Robert Henwood.
She was a team member of Walmart for 27 years at the store located off of Blue Angel Highway. Michelle enjoyed spending time with her husband and loved ones, exploring and hiking in the mountains, and making people laugh.
An open casket viewing will take place at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home at 1985 W. Nine Mile Road in Pensacola on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 from 10:00 to 11:00am. Services will occur after the viewing, followed by burial services at Pensacola Memorial Gardens at 7433 Pine Forest Road in Pensacola.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home.
