Michael John Champitto

Mike was born December 09, 1963 to John Patrick Champitto and Mary Lorena (Barlow) Champitto.

Mike was an auto mechanic by trade, but there wasn’t anything he couldn’t do. He enjoyed working on projects like cars and home improvements, going to car shows, listening to music, making people laugh, but most of all spending time with his family and friends.

Preceding Mike in death are his father, John Patrick Champitto and mother, Mary Lorena (Barlow) Champitto.

He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Marcella Champitto; loving daughter, Tabetha Champitto; brother, Anthony Champitto and wife Mary; sister, Annette Champitto; brothers-in-law, Ray Lepley and wife, Susan, Richard Wessel and wife Pat, Darin McLemore, Jon McLemore and wife Sheila, Dale Searcy and Paul Searcy; nieces and nephews, Reshell and husband Dan, Heather and husband Jeff, Jami and husband Braden, Hailey, Cody and wife Diana, Laura, Shauna, Devin, Evan, Jackson and Jasmine; grandnieces and grandnephews, Skye, Jaden, Cayden and Braelynn; as well as numerous cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 01, 2020 at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Eastern Gate Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Terry Capps, Paul Walther, Jon McLemore, Dale Searcy, Chris Basco and Braden Dees. Honorary pallbearers are too numerous to list.
