transforming to his eternal spirit to return home to his beloved savior, Jesus Christ, on July 6,
2023, in Gilbert Arizona, completely enveloped in a room overflowing with intense love.
Michael devoted his career to protecting our United States of America, at home and abroad, with
service in the United States Air Force for 23 years. Following this selfless service for his beloved
homeland, Michael was engaged with Lockheed Martin for 9 years, and finally retired from the
United States Department of State after 9 years of dedication in August, 2014.
Although Michael’s love for his country was great, his adoration, devotion, and love of his family
was infinite. Michael’s legacy of deep love, unstoppable strength, and unwavering faith will
continue through, first and foremost, his loving wife and best friend of 51 years Sawethachat
“Nang” Bevill; through his five children Boom Wheat (Terry), Duangkhae Strnad (Steve),
Penchan Kennedy (Dan), Shanda Terrell (Clay), and Tah Bevill (Kendra), whom were all
priceless treasures to him and whom revered, adored, and admired him lovingly; through his
thirteen grandchildren, Mark, Mercedes, Charlotte, Dan, Jr., Ashlie, Kristyn, Michael, Corey,
Jordan, Kinsey, Kayla, John David and Claire, whom he encouraged and was a major source of
supportive guidance; through his thirteen great-grandchildren Jaiden, Madden, Mayson,
Maximus, Miles, Annabelle, Ryder, Parker, Ashton, Olivia, Ivy, Tyson, and Tobi whom he doted
love, laughs, playtime, and hugs. Michael’s memory of their youth and growing together will
continue in his surviving siblings Eschol Bevill, Joan Fulcher, Judy Clevenger, and his many
nephews and nieces. Michael’s loved ones that preceded him include his dear father Carlie L.
Bevill and his loving mother Eva Marie Bevill, his devoted brother David Bevill and sister
Virginia “Jenny” Cureton, whom he is now reunited and celebrating with.
Michael loved worshipping his heavenly Father with his devoted family and irreplaceable friends
at Emerald Coast Church in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. He loved to journal and to write
inspiring letters and notes to his family and friends; working in the flourishing garden at his
home with his wife; expanding his mind and horizons with literature and traveling; going to the
gym to help him keep up with his great grand babies and his active wife.
Michael will be honored and remembered at Oak Lawn Funeral Home located at 619 North
Warrington Road in Pensacola, Florida on August 4, 2023, at 12:00 pm. Afterward, Michael will
be laid to rest with military honors at 1:30 pm to Barrancas National Cemetery, Naval Air
Station in Pensacola located at Naval Air Station, 1 Cemetery Road Pensacola, Florida.
