Nell was born December 01, 1934 in Bradley, Alabama to Charlie Vernon Palmer and Floy “Dollie” Estelle Tanner Palmer. She graduated from Lake Wales High School in 1955. Nell worked for Monsanto and raised three sons. She was a member of Scenic Hills Church of Christ. Nell believed that you should stay fit and active, making sure that her boys participated any many different sports; she made sure to keep herself fit and attended many of the gyms in the area.

Nell is survived by her husband, Richard “Bud” Percell; sons, Steve Percell, Chris Percell and wife Deborah, Mark Percell and wife Jennifer all of Pensacola; siblings, Faylean Noles of Winter Haven and Linda Peterson of Bartow; grandchildren, Richard Percell and wife Brittany, Jason Percell, Jennifer Smith, Tyler Percell and Ryan Percell all of Pensacola; great grandchildren, Cameron Percell, Carson Percell, Sophia Reece, Cooper Percell and Coltynn Percell all of Pensacola.
The family will receive friends at Scenic Hills Church of Christ on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m., with services beginning at 11:30 a.m. at the church. Rev. Kenneth Tackett officiating.
Pallbearers will be Richard Percell, Tyler Percell, Ryan Percell, Cameron Percell, Carson Percell, Jason Percell and Kenny Parsons as an honorary pallbearer.
Interment will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery.
