Mary Ellen Myers Peters

1929 – 2013

Mary Ellen Myers Peters, 83, passed away on May 10, 2013 with her family by her side.

Mary Ellen was born in Washington D.C. on July 31, 1929 to the late Evelyn Elizabeth and Thomas Myers. She later spent the majority of her life in Manassas, VA where she and her husband raised their 5 children and were active members of All Saints Catholic Church. In 1994 she retired and relocated to the Pensacola area.

Mary Ellen is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Lawrence Edward Peters and her son, Thomas Peters.

She is survived by her daughters, Kathleen (Tom) Pollard, Maureen (Rodney) Wines and Missy (Charlie) Trinque; son, Matthew (Mai) Peters; granddaughters, Jessica Trinque and Elizabeth Kate Wines; grandsons, Phillip (Ann) Pollard, Charlie (Holly) Trinque, Eric Pollard, Mark Pollard, Austin Wines, Jack Trinque and Nicholas Peters; great grandsons, Sailer Strickland and Charles Eugene Trinque IV; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at the Catholic Church of the Holy Spirit with Father James Valenzuela as celebrant.

Interment will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the church from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m., Wednesday.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Catholic Church of the Holy Spirit,
