Mae was born October 25, 1925 in Chapman, Alabama to Jess Hester and Vera Reeves Hester. Mae retired from Monsanto after 24 years of service. After retirement, Mae and Murdock spent many years sailing on the Serendipity and spending time with friends. She was an accomplished seamstress and loved her church sewing group.
Mae is preceded in death by her husband, Murdock McMillan Barrineau; grandson, Brien Heath Booker; parents, Jess and Vera Hester; sister, Merle Lee and brother, Joe Hester.
She is survived by her children, Danny (Judy) Booker, Cynthia (John) Kausch and Tim (Theresa) Booker; 7 grandchildren, Shelly Bennefield, Ashley Addision, Dan Booker, Adam Lassiter, Andria Griswold, Jason Kausch and Katie Arndt; 20 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren; sister, Edith Hicks and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 23, 2020 at Bayview Memorial Park.
Pallbearers are Dan Booker, Adam Lassiter, Lance Addison, Jason Griswold and Ken Bennefield.
