Martha was born on October 23 1926 in a small village near Ulm, Germany, Sielheim, located in the north of Bavaria. In 1934 her family moved to Ehningen, Germany, near Stuttgart, where many family members still reside today.
Martha moved to the US in 1949, with husband Roy Walton and daughter Sonja. They settled in Pensacola where Martha would work for Monsanto Corporation for over 4 decades.
She is preceded in death by her husband Roy Walton Myers, her daughter Sonja Simmons, and her son Christopher Keith Myers. She is survived by her brother Xaver Joas, (Germany) and her grandchildren Brandon and Gabrielle Myers.
A service will be held at a later date with further information forthcoming.
