Martha Cecile Haag

1916 - 2011

Martha Ray Haag, 95, of Pensacola passed away Thursday, October 20, 2011 at the Blake of Gulf Breeze. Martha was born August 10, 1916 in Lamar County Alabama to Arthur and Fannie Ray. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, brothers John, Carl, Marshal, Tonce, Cleveland, sister Lucille, her loving husband of more than 60 years Samuel J. Haag and her daughter, Dixie Edwardson. In her time on this Earth she traveled extensively and lived overseas in Europe and Asia for a number of years. She called Pensacola her home since 1978. She is survived by her grandchildren Matthew and Melissa Edwardson, great grandson Johnathan Ziman, and great, great grandson Samuel Ziman. In accordance with her final wishes, her body will be cremated and her ashes spread over her family's farm on Mud Creek, Alabama. The family wishes to extend it's thanks and appreciation to all of the staff at the Blake of Gulf Breeze, and Emerald Coast Hospice for their compassionate and wonderful care of Martha in her final months.
