Margie J. Peaden

1932-2014

Margie Faye Peaden, 81, of Pensacola, Florida went to her home in heaven January 23, 2014. She was born in Birmingham, Alabama on September 15, 1932 and moved to Pensacola at an early age. After graduating from Pensacola High School, she was employed at First Bank and Trust and AmSouth Bank where she retired and then worked at Grace Lutheran Church as a secretary.

She was preceded in death by her Father, George T. Jones and Mother, Marie Zirkelbach Jones, her husband, Herman Peaden and grandson Shon Peaden and two older brothers, Thomas Z. Jones and Russell H. Jones.

She is survived by three sons, Herman D. Peaden of Gulf Breeze, Florida, Ronald L. Peaden and John D. Peaden (Cathy) of Pace, Florida; a twin brother, Charles R. Jones of Kennesaw, Georgia; three sisters, Gertrude A. Jones of New York City, New York, Nancy K. Hood(Carroll) of Frisco, Texas and Shirley M. Forchilli(Robert) of Pensacola, Florida and numerous nephews, nieces, friends and neighbors.

Margie was a charter member of Grace Lutheran Church where she enjoyed spending time with her many brothers and sisters in Christ.

The family would like to thank the staff of Covenant Hospice Residence at West Florida Hospital for their kind, gentle and loving care of Margie and her family.

The funeral service, officiated by the Rev. Dr. Joseph Jones, will be held at 11:00 AM January 27, 2014 at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel, 3351 Scenic Highway, Pensacola, Florida, with the visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow at Bayview Memorial Park.
