Louise passed away December 20, 2020 after a long and full life. She was born in Wapello, Iowa on January 12, 1923 to Mary and Walter Chatterton . She grew up on her family's farm where her favorite activity was working with the Morgan horses her parents raised and sold all over the country. She remained an avid horse lover her entire life. She married her high school boyfriend, Robert Kenneth Blasi, in 1944. Together with their baby son James, they moved to Florida in 1952 to raise Angus cattle and where they added a daughter, Janet, to their family. Ken passed away in 1962 after a long illness. Louise worked at Chemstrand (later purchased by Monsanto) from 1953 through 1985. She remarried in 1989 to Shelby Walters, Sr. She was active in her church, McIlwain in Pensacola, until the last few years of her life.
She is preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Kenneth Blasi, her second husband, Shelby L. Walters, Sr, her son James Kenneth Blasi, and her brother Walter "Dale" Chatterton.
She is survived by her daughter, Janet Blasecki and her niece, Cathy Gethman (Cornell).
