Louis Lowe was a loving father & husband who went peacefully to meet his Savior on Sunday, September 14th, 2014. Louis was a Pensacola native, born in the old, walled hospital on NAS Pensacola. He graduated from Escambia High School, and earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Mississippi. Louis worked with his father, the late Clarence Lowe, as a contractor with the family business, C.L. Lowe & Son, Inc. Many residents in Navy Point and the Warrington area knew that if there was any project they needed done, he was the one to call. He was involved with Warrington Baptist Church throughout his life, at one time handling the sound system for church services and programs. He and his father completed many projects for the church, with Louis even rebuilding the steeple. Along with his love of woodworking, he enjoyed collecting and refinishing antiques & pottery.
He loved the Beach and to be out on the water, especially when the Blue Angels were flying. Much of his youth was spent water skiing on the bayou in Navy Point. He and Kathleen also participated in various local Mardi Gras Krewes, which is how they met. He also enjoyed capturing life’s moments on camera. He was an avid Football fan, and could be found on any football weekend cheering on his favorite teams. He was deeply loved & will be greatly missed by his family & friends & even the feathered & furry ones.
He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Shelton-Lowe, with whom he spent the last 25 years, his only child & beloved daughter, Christi Miller and her husband Mike, and his pride & joy - granddaughter
