Lisa Jo Blackwell was born on April 8, 1990 in Pensacola, FL and was a lifetime resident. She graduated from West Florida Tech High School, then continued on to Columbia Southern University where she earned her Associate’s Degree in Business Administration.
She loved to travel, and especially enjoyed visiting theme parks with her son, where everyone could be a kid again.
Lisa Jo leaves behind a loving family and multiple friends who will miss her dearly. Her son, Steel, was the light of her life.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 9, 2019 at Oak Lawn Funeral Home beginning at 2:00 pm with a Celebration of Lisa Jo’s life taking place at 3:00 pm in the Oak Lawn chapel. A reception follows until 5:00 pm in the Oak Lawn Funeral Home event space.
