

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Marie and Richard H. Martin and a baby granddaughter.
She is survived by her husband, Hilton Turner, and her only daughter Gina (LaDon) Martin, step children William Turner, Dana (CJ) Bell, and Dawn Turner, and sister’s Carolyn Mink and Carole Huppert and a niece and several cousins. She leaves behind 12 grandchildren, whom are most precious and dear to her heart: Kaitlyn, Daren, Taylor, Dezarae, Heather, Chelsea, Colby, Emily, Chase, Luke, Houston, Parker and two great-grandchildren Layla and Jase.
Linda grew up in Corpus Christi, Texas and graduated from Roy Miller High in 1967. She moved to Pensacola, FL in 1978 and began making life-long friends. She enjoyed going to the races on Friday nights, camping and fishing. While raising her daughter she accepted her daughter’s friends as her own, and they considered her as a surrogate mom who loved her dearly. She had a strong faith in God and attended St. Luke United Methodist Church. She was a loyal employee of Escambia County; she held several job titles throughout 24 years of service. Linda loved life to the fullest and could make you laugh so hard you would cry. She had a smile that would light up a room in seconds. Linda was a loyal friend who loved her friends dearly. She loved her four legged babies and considered them as children.
