June 14, 1938 -August 20, 2023
Linda Taggart was a trailblazer. An independent spirit who forged her way in life, her way. She was a Registered Nurse by profession and always looked out for those who were in need, whether it was humans or animals. She cared for and loved them all. Her profession led her down paths that not all nurses would have taken, but she had a fierce and loyal compassion to doing the right thing, even if she sometimes put herself in harm's way. She moved up the ranks of her profession and was honored and sought out for her opinions and leadership. She was an advocate for human (women’s) rights, in all aspects of her life and the world was a better place because of it. Linda left an indelible mark on this world.
Linda’s hobbies included reading, traveling, skiing, designing jewelry, ballroom dancing, cross-stitching, and enjoying her four-legged friends (kitties).
Linda is preceded in death by her mother, Annie Helena Glick (Heertje), father, Louis Glick, her first husband, Lieutenant Floyd K. Wright, Jr, Sister, Elenore Louise Pred. She is remembered with love by her family, Greg Ravenscroft, her partner of 43 years, her daughter Keri Anne Taggart-Rhodes (Mike Rhodes), her grandchildren, Kaelyn Alena Pelfrey, Brody and Brandi Rhodes, and many families and friends.
Funeral Services will be held on September 7, 2023, at 10 am with visitation from 9 am to 10am, at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel located at 3351 Scenic Highway. A reception will follow services in the same location.
