She is preceded in death by her son, George David Sweeten Jr; her mother, Florence “Peggy” Welch Tritchler; father, Charles A Patterson; step father, Thomas Tritchler; sister, Patricia Johnston; brother, Robert F Patterson; and niece, Sherry Johnston.

She is survived by husband, Dave Thomas of 20 years; daughter, Shannon DeAnn Riley; sisters, Margaret “Betty” (Bud) Whiten and Mary Driskell; stepson, Jeff Thomas; stepdaughter, Judi Carcamo; granddaughter, Lindsay (Kevin) Oman, Brittany (Aaron) Flumerfelt; grandson, Jacob (Chandra) Lovins; 7 nieces and nephews and 7 great grandchildren.

A contribution to Saint Jude to save children’s lives in her name would be preferred to flowers.

A Funeral Service will be held at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel on Friday, February 23. Visitation beginning at 10am followed by Service at 11am.
