Les was born January 16, 1936 in Elberta, Alabama to Cecil Pardue and Bessie Cornelia Giles Pardue. He has lived in Pensacola for the last 51 years and retired from the Longshoreman Association. More recently Les was working for Manheim, driving automobiles. He served in the U. S. Army and loved fishing in his spare time.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Roberta J. Pardue; parents, Cecil and Bessie Pardue; sister, Cornelia O’Sullivan; brothers, Jessie William Pardue, Fred Alfred Pardue and Bruce Jackson Pardue; and stepson, Harold Turnipseed.
Les is survived by his brother, Robert E. Pardue of Robertsdale, Alabama; sister, Frances Malone of Seminole, Alabama; bonus children, Sandy Sasnett, Patti Hyde, Tom Turnipseed and their children; numerous nieces and nephews.
A private family service will be held at Eastern Gate Memorial Gardens.
