Kurt Lloyd Kramer, 60, of Pensacola, FL, passed away on June 29, 2024. Born on July 8, 1963, in Portsmouth, VA, Kurt honorably served his country for 20 years in the United States Navy as an Aviation Boatswain's Mate (King of the Flightdeck), displaying unwavering honor, courage and commitment.
Mourning his loss he is survived by his devoted wife, Ruthann, and their beloved children, Gavin, Brandon, Shane and Nicole. He also leaves behind his stepfather, Dawson, and siblings, Ken and Karen. Preceding him in death are his first wife, Beverly, his mother, Sandy, his father, Robert, and his brother, Tim.
Kurt's life was surrounded by simple pleasures and friendship; he was an enthusiastic fisherman who stories of the fish he caught got bigger every time he told it and a new gamer in which after 2,000 hours of Fortnite his friends would call him more than a backpack. Kurt was beloved by all and being an astute handyman he was quick to help when called and even put in recommendations when not asked.
He always put family first and even in his golden age he became best friends with his grandson Cameron; it was known by his family and friends that a story about Cameron was always to be had when having a conversation with Kurt. Kurt referred to all of his kids as pains but in no way would he ever wish to have missed a minute with any of them.
Kurt’s absence leaves an immeasurable void filled with treasured memories cherished by those whose lives he touched with his generosity, altruism, and humor. He made a profound difference within his community and will be greatly missed.
The family invites those who knew Kurt to attend a service at Oak Lawn Funeral Home in Pensacola, FL, with the timing to be announced.
