Kimberly Janece Meador

1962 – 2014

Kimberly J. Davis Meador, 52, of Pensacola, died Thursday, July 17, 2014 at Covenant Hospice Inpatient and Palliative Care Center.

Kimberly was born January 05, 1952 in Marianna, Florida. She was a graduate of Pine Forest High School where she met her 3 closest friends, Audrey, Kandi and Marla. Kim loved the beach, yellow roses and her Maltese dog Scooter, was her constant companion and love. Kim loved her husband and family and had a heart of gold for everyone she met. She will truly be missed.

Survivors include her husband, Clyde H. Meador of Pensacola; step-daughter, Michelle (Eric) Goldstrom of Augusta, GA; parents, Jeff (Tommy) and Barbara Davis of Quincy, FL; mother-in-law, Liz Simons of Robbinsville, NC; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Jeffrey Todd Davis of Panama City, FL; maternal grandparents, Alfred and Gladys Walden of Quincy, FL; paternal grandparents, George and Mary Davis of Blountstown, FL; aunts, Elvia Messer and June McGreggor; and uncle, Joe Davis.

A special thank you to the following for their concerns, prayers, and thoughtfulness: the Deacons of Hillcrest Baptist Church, the Lifegroup of her Uncle and Aunt Charles and Cyndi Walden also of Hillcrest, and the members of Antioch Baptist Church of Quincy, FL. The family is also very grateful for the special care Kim received from Select Specialty Hospice and Covenant Hospice Inpatient and Palliative Care Center.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made in memory of Kim, to the American Heart Association or the New Building Fund of Antioch Baptist Church, 284 McCall Bridge Rd., Quincy, FL 32351.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 25, 2014 at Bayview Memorial Park.
