Ken was born in Des Moines, Iowa on October 24, 1940 to Kenneth Gordon McKeeman and Marjorie Peterson McKeeman. Ken spent 32 years in the Navy as an Aerographer's Mate. He joined the Navy January 2, 1958 and retired as a Senior Chief June 1, 1991. He traveled and was stationed all over the world including Antarctica. He loved serving his country.
One of Ken's belief's was faith, family and freedom. Ken loved his family, he loved his Lord and Savior and his church family at Myrtle Grove United Methodist Church. He was one of the most kind and loving person you would ever meet.
Ken had many interests, Legos, trains, radio controlled boats/cars/trucks, he was a ham radio operator, he also liked to build boats. He loved to travel.
Ken is survived by his wife Joyce Arlene Mayer Lewis, sister-in-law Gladys Vallone (William), sons William Lewis (Dawn), Timothy/Natalie Lewis, Kenneth Lewis (Nydia), daughters Annette French (Paul), Susan Brown son-in-law Randy (Kenneth), Dorothy Reinke (Chris), Michele Fuzzell, grandchildren Trista Lewis, Nicholas Lewis (Shelly), Maite Lewis, Ivan Lewis, Cameron French (Bethany Ivy), Conner French (Libby), Temperance Brown, Aidan/Amber Lewis, Avery Lewis, Ashton Lewis, Addison Reinke, Michael Wilson and Benjamin Fuzzell, great grandchildren Luna Lewis, Liliana Lewis, Ashlyn French, Jaxon French, Michael Ivy, Madilynn Ivy, Rose Brown and Kendall Fuzzell.
He is preceded in death by father and mother, stepdad Lester Lewis, brother William, sister Virginia, grandsons Benjamin French and Dylan Fuzzell, granddaughter Autumn Reinke.
We will gather for Fellowship from 10:30 am to 11:00 am Monday, March 13, 2023 at Myrtle Grove United Methodist Church 1030 N 57th Ave, Pensacola, FL 32507, with a Memorial Service from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, a Reception for Kenneth will follow from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm with Graveside Service from 1:30 pm to 2:00 pm at Barrancas National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Kenneth's memory may be made to Myrtle Grove UMC.
