When I taught astronomy for PJC at Milton campus, Ken and I often discussed our stargazes at Munson with the EAAA.  He loved the night sky in the rural areas, and the woods and their peace.  It was quite appropriate that he took perhaps the best local photo of the great Leonid Meteor Storm on November 17, 2001, a sight many of us still treasure.  We praise his ascension to the heavens.

Mr Dunn, as I knew him, was my Electronics teacher at Woodham High back in 1974. I don't remember any of my other teachers from that time, specifically, but I remember him. He was always so personable and loved to share his knowledge. I learned a lot in his class that has stuck with me through the years and I have often thought of him. Rest in peace, sir, and thank you!

Ater 60 years of friendship and many qso's,  phone calls, Hamfest trips to Florida, Alabama, and Mississippi , have come to an end. I'll miss those times, but I'll always keep our friendship in my heart! 73 old friend, SK

Dear Penny and Family:
I was a colleague of Ken at PJC for many years. I started at PJC in 1977, one year after Ken. He taught electronics and I taught physics.
We both taught in building 21 and many times met in the hallway between classes. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. I recall one time when he let me borrow one of his oscilloscopes when the one in the physics lab failed. After I retired in 2012, I enjoyed meeting Ken at the PJC/PSC retiree luncheons, the last one being in 2019. I will always remember Ken very fondly and will keep him in my prayers forever. I know that some day I will meet him again in Heaven. Rest in Peace, Ken.

My some of my favorite memories of Ken (shown here in blue shirt and cap) were when we attended hamfests.  At every hamfest he would start making his rounds looking at ham gear and chatting. He never made it all the way around.  Almost without fail, when it was time to leave he would lament, "But I haven't seen everything yet."   Ken was a people-oriented person; his real pleasure  was in his social interaction with  other hamfest attendees.  He never met a stranger.  73, my friend, as you join other silent keys.

Worked with Ken at PJC and UWF.  Amazing knowledge of so much science, electonics, engineering, math, and loved the EAAA gazes and the radio group events.  He will be missed.

Ken will be missed. by family, friends ,former students and coworkers. I met Ken the first year that I started teaching in 1968.  We taught together and offered support and comic release to each other during those twice a week night classes. We continued to be friends throughout the years. In 1979 he helped my wife and I construct a "haunted house" for a fall festival. A wonderful endeavor it was. Ken's Tesla Coil stole the show.-- all those crazy sparks-- they are still remembered and talked about. My recent contacts have been limited to letters and phone calls but they were great exchanges on everything from green house repair, plant species and tube amplifier Ken you encouraged and supported. many and will be remembered .with a positive smile.

I prayed for Jesus to heal you and he did🙌🏻. Thank you Lord for my sweet Uncle Kenny. I wish I was there when you saw Daddy(brother James Dunn) and  all our loved ones who’ve gone before us.  What a day that will be when we all meet again. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻for our family.
